Five account types at a glance
RoboForex's accounts page lists five types: Pro, Prime, ECN, ProCent and R StocksTrader (RST). According to the page data, the minimum deposit for Pro, ECN, Prime and Cent accounts is 10 dollars. For R StocksTrader the first deposit is 100 dollars, according to the platform page. The accounts differ in cost structure: in some the price is built into the spread, in others the spread is lower and there is a separate commission. Pro and ProCent: cost in the spread
RoboForex presents the Pro account with spreads from 1.3 pips, a commission of 0 dollars per lot, leverage of up to 1:2000, Market Execution and a minimum order size of 0.01 lots. The listed platforms are MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and R StocksTrader. ProCent is a cent account in which the contract size is 100 times smaller. Its page lists a minimum deposit of 10 dollars or 10 euros, 28 currency pairs plus metals and crypto, spreads from 1.3 pips, a Stop Out level of 30%, and account currencies USD, EUR and GOLD. According to the ECN page, ProCent leverage is also up to 1:2000.
ECN: spreads from zero and a volume-based commission
For the ECN account, according to the data RoboForex publishes, spreads start from 0 pips and the commission starts from 20 dollars per million dollars of trading volume. Leverage is up to 1:500, execution is ECN, and the platforms are MT4 and MT5. On the ECN page the company describes direct access to interbank liquidity and states a minimum deposit of 10 dollars. This structure suits traders who prefer to see the commission separately from the spread and to calculate cost by trading volume. Note that leverage here is lower than on Pro, which goes up to 1:2000.
Prime: reduced commission and leverage up to 1:300
On the Prime account page RoboForex publishes a minimum deposit of 10 dollars, a commission of 10 dollars per million dollars of volume, leverage of up to 1:300 and floating spreads from 0 pips. Execution is Market Execution and the Stop Out level is 100%. Order size ranges from 0.01 to 500 lots in steps of 0.01, with no limit on the number of positions. Account currencies are USD, EUR and GOLD. Instruments number more than 100, including 28 currency pairs, metals, CFDs on US stocks, indices and oil. Platforms are MT4, MT5, WebTrader and iOS and Android apps.
R StocksTrader: stocks, indices and ETFs
R StocksTrader is RoboForex's platform for stocks and other markets. According to the platform page, it offers more than 12,000 instruments, including more than 3,000 US stocks and more than 8,400 CFDs on US stocks, alongside indices, ETFs, currencies and commodities. The first deposit is 100 dollars. Leverage on stocks is up to 1:20 and on currencies up to 1:500. Stock spreads start from 0.02 dollars. The platform runs in the browser and in iOS and Android apps, and includes one-click trading, market depth (Level II), a no-code strategy builder and copy-trading support.
Platforms: MT4, MT5 and web and mobile versions
According to the platforms page, RoboForex offers MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, R StocksTrader, a browser-based WebTrader with no download and MobileTrader for iOS, Android and via a Telegram bot. For WebTrader and MobileTrader the company describes customizable charts, indicators and drawing tools, live quotes, order execution and position monitoring, price alerts, and access to news, analysis and economic events. MT4 and MT5 are available on all the account types described here, except R StocksTrader, which is a separate platform.
How to compare the accounts
The main difference is the cost structure. In Pro the cost is built into the spread with no per-lot commission, while in ECN and Prime spreads start from zero and there is a volume-based commission. To compare, work out the cost of your typical trade: spread times order size, plus commission where it applies. Also check the leverage, the Stop Out level and the instrument list for each account. Traders looking for US stocks and ETFs will find them in R StocksTrader. Leveraged CFD and forex trading carries high risk, and high leverage also increases the possible loss.
