Costs and service terms

Service model
CFD broker

A CFD does not establish ownership of its underlying asset. Entity and product depend on residence.

Standard: major FX spread
1.2 pips

All-inclusive spread from 1.2 pips in the global MT4/5 table; not an average or guaranteed spread. Entity and instrument terms apply.

Raw+: major FX spread
0 pips

Spreads from zero with an additional commission. A zero spread does not mean cost-free trading.

Raw+: displayed commission
USD 3.50 per side in the table

The figure is displayed for major FX in the MT4/5 table. Tie the charge to the actual trade unit and contract specification; this is not a flat fee for every order size.

cTrader: FX and spot-metals commission
35 USD/million/side

Per USD million traded per side. Conversion of the traded amount and account currency affect the charge.

Overnight financing
Swap depends on instrument and position direction

Charges, credits and triple-charge days depend on the asset group. Swap-free status has separate conditions.

Leverage and margin conditions
Depend on entity, instrument, platform and position size

Dynamic leverage and higher margin requirements may apply. A professional-account headline is not every retail client’s leverage limit.

Deposit and withdrawal fees
No FxPro fee, subject to exceptions

Third parties can charge fees; an e-wallet withdrawal fee may apply where no trading occurred. Check conversions and payment-method conditions separately.

Demo account
Simulated trading for learning and practice

Premium, Pro and Cent primarily use spread pricing; Zero separates spread and commission.

Product exceptions may apply. An account without a separate forex commission still has a spread and potentially other costs.

More providers in Forex

  • Eightcap · review

Eightcap offers leveraged forex and CFDs through Standard and Raw accounts. Its international Raw schedule charges USD accounts $3.50 per side per standard lot: $7 to open and close, before spread and financing. Platforms include MT4, MT5, TradingView and TradeLocker. Products, charges and protections depend on the entity and account; all trading funds can be lost.

  • FP Markets · review

At FP Markets, Raw forex on MT4/MT5 in a USD account costs $3 per side per lot: $6 to open and close, before spread and financing. Standard includes forex charges in the spread. The global table lists MT4, MT5 and cTrader for both accounts and TradingView for Raw, with the documented connection using cTrader ID. Terms and protections depend on the entity; leveraged trading can cause rapid losses.

  • HFM · review

HFM, formerly HotForex, is a group of brokers offering forex and contracts for difference. Accounts use either spread-based pricing or spreads plus commission through MetaTrader, the HFM App and a browser platform. A CFD provides exposure to price changes without ownership of the underlying asset. Terms and protections depend on the entity and account; leverage can rapidly consume trading funds.

  • Plus500 · review

Plus500 CFD offers contracts for difference linked to asset prices through its trading platform. The contract provides price exposure rather than ownership of the underlying asset. Costs include the buy/sell spread, with funding potentially applying after an instrument-specific cutoff. Guaranteed stops are limited to supported instruments and carry a wider spread. The Israeli service is described under Plus500IL; Plus500UK terms are considered separately. Leveraged trading can rapidly exhaust invested funds. Plus500 Invest and the US futures service are different offerings.

  • RoboForex · review

At Belize-based RoboForex Ltd, Prime requires a $10 minimum deposit and quotes commission of 10 USD per million USD of turnover, alongside spreads from 0 pips and leverage up to 1:300. A million dollars of turnover is not one lot: an EUR/USD lot is 100,000 euros. Leverage magnifies losses; the provider’s risk warning reports that 75.85% of retail accounts lose money.

What FxPro provides

FxPro is a group of brokers offering contracts for difference, with currency pairs, metals, indices and other markets available through several trading platforms. A CFD tracks a change in an underlying asset's price. Buying a share CFD or cryptocurrency CFD does not mean buying the underlying asset. Start with the exposure you need, then consider the trading interface and fee structure. Someone who wants to hold shares or withdraw cryptocurrency to a private wallet needs a service designed for that purpose.

Choosing FxPro involves separate decisions about the contracting entity, trading account, platform and individual instrument. The brand name alone does not determine all four. Using the same trading software at two brokers also does not make their conditions identical. This review keeps those distinctions: the global account comparison describes the plans displayed there, while legal protections belong to the particular entity that offers them.

Which company holds the account

FxPro's licence page lists FxPro UK Limited under the FCA with registration number 509956, FxPro Global Markets Limited in the Bahamas under licence SIA-F184, and Seychelles-based Invemonde Trading Ltd under licence SD120 in the partnership described with FxPro Global Markets Ltd. These are different entities. A protection or condition associated with one must not be transferred to an account held with another. Before depositing, read the company name and governing terms in the actual agreement rather than relying on a group-wide list of regulators.

FxPro associates FSCS membership with the UK entity and says eligibility depends on the claimant's status and the claim. This is not insurance against trading losses. It also describes segregated client money and negative balance protection subject to the client agreement. Market risk, counterparty risk and a possible compensation claim remain different questions; a licence does not eliminate them.

Residence, product and agreement must align

The official website says CFDs are not offered to residents of certain jurisdictions, including the United States and Canada, and that further restrictions depend on local rules. Our documented FxPro referral offer excludes referrals from Israel. Account availability depends on the relevant product and entity terms. Hebrew content does not establish account eligibility, and English content does not make a CFD available in the United States. Residence is a separate question from page language or the technical ability to reach a website.

Before making a financial commitment, a prospective customer needs confirmation that the specific product and entity can accept them. A Forex category label does not change the CFD structure described here. A demo account or accessible registration address is insufficient evidence. An affiliate link does not waive residence conditions or alter the customer's agreement. Equally, absence from a partial exclusion list does not establish eligibility.

Standard and its spread-based pricing

The global comparison displays Standard on MT4 or MT5 with an all-inclusive spread starting at 1.2 pips on major currency pairs. Starting at matters: this is an advertised minimum rather than the average for every pair or a guaranteed quote at a particular time. The spread is the difference between the buying and selling prices, so it remains a cost even when the trade has no separate commission line.

For a useful comparison, choose a pair, contract size and trading period, then hold those details constant across accounts. A spread quoted in pips is not a fixed cash charge for every trade: its monetary effect depends on the instrument, quantity and account currency. Spreads can widen during thin liquidity or economic announcements. Standard may suit someone who prefers spread-based pricing, but easier presentation does not establish that it will cost less for their trading frequency.

Raw+ and Elite combine spreads with commission

Raw+ in the MT4/5 comparison shows major FX spreads from zero alongside an advertised commission of USD 3.50 per side. Elite displays the same basic structure with rebates under its stated conditions. Opening and closing are separate sides; a one-side figure is not a round-trip price. The actual charge must also be tied to the trade unit and contract specification shown for the account, rather than treating one displayed figure as a flat fee for every order size.

A zero minimum spread does not mean cost-free trading. Add the actual spread and applicable commission, then consider overnight funding and conversions where relevant. An Elite rebate is also no reason to increase activity. Admission requirements and rebate calculations need separate examination. A fair comparison asks what the same instrument and exposure cost before and after a rebate, and what conditions the customer must meet to receive it.

cTrader and TradingView require connection-specific checks

FxPro's commission page describes a cTrader charge of USD 35 per USD million traded on FX pairs and spot metals. It is calculated per side and converted into the account currency when necessary. This uses a different measure from the per-side figure in the Raw+ account table, so one account's number must not be copied into another. Where the trade's base currency is not USD, conversion of the traded amount also affects the calculation.

The FAQ describes connecting an FxPro cTrader account to TradingView. It presents the connection itself as free, while paid TradingView subscriptions remain a separate product. A chart feature or alert is not automatically an order-execution feature at the broker. Check supported instruments, the connected account and available order types. Our TradingView review helps distinguish charting subscriptions, market data and brokerage execution costs.

Choose a platform around the actual workflow

FxPro lists MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView and its own interfaces. These are workflow choices rather than a ranking in which the newest or most familiar product suits everyone. Someone with existing indicators or automated trading code should check the required language and compatibility. Code written for one platform does not necessarily transfer to another, and a broker's platform list does not establish that every account can use every interface.

The FAQ explains that terminal-dependent EAs or cBots stop when the terminal is closed, and presents a VPS as an option for continuous operation. Automation therefore needs an operating environment and supervision as well as a strategy. On mobile, examine readability, order modification and position closing, while checking which functions still require a computer. A useful selection process starts with the actions needed each day and confirms support in the particular account.

Overnight funding changes holding costs

A position held overnight may incur a swap charge or credit depending on the instrument and direction. FxPro's commission page describes different calculations for currencies, shares, metals and other instruments. A narrow entry spread is therefore insufficient when comparing a position held for several days. Check the current overnight rate and its unit: points, a cash amount and an annual percentage are different measures.

The page also describes triple charges on particular days to account for weekends, depending on the asset group. Do not assume every night has the same cost or that changing the calendar day removes it. FxPro offers swap-free status subject to conditions and says it can review or remove that status. This does not waive every possible fee. For longer holding periods, calculate a scenario using the intended duration and the instrument's terms rather than comparing entry spreads alone.

Check leverage and margin before placing an order

FxPro says leverage depends on the entity, instrument and platform, and that larger positions can change the requirement through dynamic leverage. There is consequently no single leverage figure to promise every customer. A headline about professional conditions is not a retail client's leverage limit, and electing professional status can involve different terms and protections.

The leverage page also describes higher margin requirements around major economic events and trading breaks. An order planned using an earlier margin requirement may therefore need a different amount when submitted. Margin is not the maximum potential loss. Price movements can consume much more than the initial margin, and forced liquidation is not a guaranteed exit price. Our position-size calculator can support an educational calculation using the correct instrument specification, but it cannot ensure execution at a stop price or establish that leveraged trading is appropriate.

A stop level and an execution price are different

FxPro's FAQ describes market execution using volume-weighted prices and acknowledges slippage. In a fast market, the price visible when an instruction is sent may differ from the final execution. A stop becomes an execution instruction when triggered; it is not a commitment that liquidity will exist at the selected level. A limit order constrains the acceptable price but can remain unfilled.

Also distinguish an instruction being sent, accepted and confirmed as executed in the account. A connection failure, rejection or insufficient margin can leave a different position from the one expected. Review order and position records even when using automation. A published execution-time statistic or historical average is neither our own performance test nor a commitment for a future trade. This review is based on public documentation and supplied company records; no test trades or measurements in a trading account were performed.

Funding, withdrawals and currency conversion

FxPro advertises no deposit or withdrawal commission charged by the broker, but the same page warns that other payment providers can impose fees. It also mentions a possible e-wallet withdrawal fee where no trading occurred. The zero-fee headline therefore does not ensure that the amount sent will equal the amount received or returned. Check the currency, intermediary banks and payment-method conditions as well.

The company describes an internal Wallet used to transfer money into trading accounts, with conversion possible when Wallet and account currencies differ. This is a balance-management facility at the broker, not a self-custody cryptocurrency wallet. Available payment methods and processing times depend on the country and entity. Card refunds may be limited to the amount funded through that card during the period described by the processor. Understand the withdrawal route before the first deposit rather than investigating it only after closing positions.

What to examine in a demo account

A demo account can help someone learn the terminal, inspect instrument specifications and understand how to set an order, stop and target. FxPro stresses that this is simulated trading and may behave differently from a live account during volatile or illiquid periods. Leverage and margin settings can differ too. Positive demo results are therefore not a forecast of profits with real money.

A practical checklist covers order size versus total exposure, the currency used for profit and loss, overnight charges, and confirmation that an amended instruction actually changed. It can also include how the terminal presents a rejection or trading break. Such practice is not an investment achievement. Its purpose is to reduce operating mistakes and expose misunderstandings. If margin calculations or position closing remain unclear, the useful next step is further learning rather than a larger deposit or a higher-risk trade.

How to compare with other brokers

FxPro can be considered alongside Eightcap and FP Markets when examining forex accounts, but compare the same product and customer class first. A group licence, shared platform or minimum spread is insufficient to declare a winner. The instrument, trade size, holding period, account currency and actual contracting entity all matter.

Record opening and closing costs, overnight funding, conversion and payment-method expenses separately. Then consider order types, compatibility with existing tools and the protections offered under the agreement. An occasional trader may prioritise different features from someone running software throughout the day. This is a comparison framework rather than a claim that we operated accounts at all three brokers. An affiliate link or referral code does not replace the calculation and is not evidence that a customer receives a better price.

Who may find this account structure useful

FxPro may suit someone seeking a CFD account who wants to examine several platforms and fee structures, provided the product is permitted for them and they understand the risk. The choice between Standard, Raw+ and cTrader gives a basis for checking an existing workflow without assuming every customer needs the same arrangement. The benefit is documented choice, not a promise of the lowest price or superior trading results.

It is less suitable for someone seeking ownership of the underlying asset, an inherently unleveraged investment or a service promising returns. Anyone unable to monitor margin and orders should also question whether the product meets their needs. Before deciding, review our methodology and the forex broker category, return to the precise account terms and confirm the residence conditions, costs and protections. The starting point is the ability to bear a loss rather than the availability of a registration button.
