TradeDay vs FundedNext: Futures Evaluation versus Stellar CFDs
Compare markets, loss floors, evaluation renewals, reward cycles and platforms at TradeDay and FundedNext Stellar CFD products.

These are different products
TradeDay evaluates selected CME Group futures. Here it is compared with FundedNext Stellar CFD routes, primarily ordinary 2-Step. This is not a FundedNext Futures review, and CFD rules should not be copied into a futures programme. Contract, market and platform choices affect every subsequent comparison.
TradeDay evaluation and Funded Sim are simulated, with conditional progression to a separate Live account. FundedNext describes its CFD products as virtual-fund simulation without live-market order execution. In neither case is the headline account figure a participant-owned investment deposit. Read the TradeDay review and FundedNext review.
Cost over time and the possibility of failure
TradeDay bills every 30 days until passing or cancellation. Resetting is separate and does not change membership timing, so duration and attempt count can change total expenditure. Selected software and data can add charges.
FundedNext describes CFD-route fees as a one-time purchase. Check the model, nominal size, add-ons, resets and refund terms of the particular checkout. Do not compare a promotion with a regular price without matching duration and inclusions. Include a no-reward scenario: in either model, access fees do not promise a refund or profit.
Trailing floors versus daily and overall limits
TradeDay loss allowances are dollar-denominated by tier and use a trailing floor. Quick Pay offers EOD or intraday evaluation, but its Funded Sim is intraday even after EOD evaluation. Fast Pass describes EOD at both stages. End-of-day floors are still enforced during trading.
Ordinary Stellar CFD 2-Step lists targets of 8% then 5%, a 5% daily loss limit and static 10% overall maximum loss. These rules should not be applied to every Stellar model or a Futures product. The practical questions are remaining loss room, whether open profit moves the floor and what happens after withdrawals, rather than which tier has the largest nominal label.
Consistency and minimum activity
Quick Pay requires five evaluation days and 30% consistency. Fast Pass describes 45% consistency and later qualifying profitable-day cycles for payouts. Its help pages do not use consistent evaluation minimum-day wording, so it does not establish a guaranteed speed advantage.
The ordinary Stellar CFD 2-Step table lists five minimum trading days. The absence of a funded consistency condition in that table does not describe every other model, add-on or payout cycle. For a strategy earning most profit on a few strong days, consistency requirements may affect progress more than a small evaluation-price difference.
The split depends on the route and cycle
Quick Pay Funded Sim has a USD250 request minimum and can combine 50/50 treatment with an 80/20 component according to profit and retained funds. Fast Pass Funded Sim accounts opened on or after 26 July 2026 have an 80% trader share, profitable-day cycles, caps and 45% consistency measured against current profit plus prior payouts. The requested amount is not the trader’s net receipt.
FundedNext offers different reward cycles: Standard describes an initial payment after 21 days with an 80% trader share; 3-Day and On-Demand options have other rates and conditions. A 95% add-on is separate too. Do not select the highest advertised percentage without checking request timing, costs, conditions and the actual purchased account.
TradingView: analysis does not always mean execution
TradeDay documents TradingView through its CQG/Tradovate route with a suitable trader licence. Rithmic is a different connection, and the desired platform must match the feed. Level 1 data, depth of market and software licensing are not necessarily the same product.
FundedNext lists MT4, MT5, Match-Trader and cTrader for CFDs, with restrictions on some account sizes. Its platform guide currently describes TradingView as analysis-only while execution through it is paused. Traders needing execution inside TradingView cannot infer support merely from the platform name. Check the execution workflow, not just charting access.
Risk, hours and participation conditions
TradeDay requires positions and orders closed before the product’s daily close and applies guidelines around specified news events. Overnight trading within a session differs from holding through the close. For FundedNext CFDs, inspect the chosen model and agreement without transferring futures rules to it.
Identity, residence and eligibility are separate from language. Simulation does not remove the possibility of losing participation, renewal and reset fees. Affiliate-programme approval or a referral code does not approve every reader’s account or change trading and reward rules.
Who should examine each option?
TradeDay merits examination by futures-focused traders who understand trailing floors and want to compare Quick Pay, Fast Pass and conditional live progression. FundedNext Stellar CFD merits examination by users seeking CFD evaluation, comparing models and reward cycles and preferring a one-time purchase structure. There is no universal winner for every trader.
