FTMO · review
FTMO sells CFD evaluations on simulated accounts. The 2-Step route has profit targets of 10% then 5%, a 5% daily loss limit and a static 10% overall limit; 1-Step has a 3% daily limit and a trailing overall threshold. The evaluation fee is a real expense, while the simulated balance is not a personal deposit. Passing and rewards depend on the rules and agreement and are not guaranteed.
FundedNext · review
FundedNext offers simulated Stellar CFD and futures evaluations. The Stellar 2-Step list price for a $6,000 simulated account is $59.99; this is the evaluation cost, not a $6,000 deposit. The ordinary plan’s base trader share is 80% of simulated profit, with conditional scaling and no deadline for meeting the targets. The TradeVenn referral code gives 5% off the first purchase. Passing and rewards are not guaranteed.

Detailed review

What does TradeDay offer?
TradeDay offers paid futures evaluations through Quick Pay and Fast Pass. Participants begin in simulation, seek to meet a profit target and loss rules, and normally progress to Funded Sim after passing. Company-funded live trading is a further stage with its own agreement and conditions. Buying an evaluation is not opening a conventional brokerage account or obtaining a promise of employment or income.
The company identifies itself as TradeDay LLC, an Illinois company. The service concerns permitted CME Group futures, rather than direct purchases of shares, crypto or other investment assets. This distinction also matters to users familiar with CFD programmes: similar account labels do not establish equivalent markets, costs or payout routes.
The account label is not withdrawable money
The tiers are labelled USD25,000, USD50,000, USD100,000 and USD150,000. Their evaluation profit targets are USD1,500, USD3,000, USD6,000 and USD9,000, with trailing loss allowances of USD1,000, USD2,000, USD3,000 and USD4,500 respectively. These define evaluation working room; the large headline is not cash transferred into your ownership.
For example, a USD50,000 tier with USD2,000 of loss allowance provides far less room than its nominal label suggests. Risk planning should use the distance to the loss floor and contract count rather than assuming USD50,000 is available to lose. Open profit, trading costs and the floor-update mechanism can change that distance during the session.
Quick Pay: evaluation versus funded rules
Quick Pay offers intraday-trailing or end-of-day evaluation routes. The evaluation requires five trading days and consistency: the best profitable day cannot exceed 30% of total profit. Reaching the profit target alone is insufficient, even if one trade produces it.
After evaluation, even the EOD route normally moves to Funded Sim with an intraday floor. This is a material change: unrealised intraday growth can affect the trailing floor. The Funded Sim description allows a first payout request after one trading day without that route’s consistency test or payout buffer, but positive profit and all payout conditions still apply. One day is not a payment guarantee.
Fast Pass: EOD and consistency
Fast Pass uses EOD drawdown in both evaluation and Funded Sim. Evaluation has a 45% consistency rule. For Funded Sim accounts opened on or after 26 July 2026, the best profitable day cannot exceed 45% of current profit plus prior payouts. Earlier accounts have no funded consistency requirement under this policy. Evaluation rules and payout-cycle rules are nevertheless separate checks. Reaching a profit target does not remove the other requirements of that stage.
The evaluation-objectives article lists three minimum trading days for Fast Pass, while the product overview says no minimum. The name therefore should not be treated as a promise of immediate completion or a guaranteed number of days. Position size can also change after passing: Funded Sim describes starting limits of one, two, three or four mini contracts by tier, with increases subject to profit and conditions. Evaluation limits do not transfer automatically.
EOD does not allow temporary floor breaches
An EOD floor updates from the end-of-day balance, but enforcement operates during trading. An intraday floor can rise with open profit. Touching the intraday loss floor can liquidate positions and fail the evaluation or close the funded account. In either case, falling below the floor can fail the account even if the trade subsequently recovers. During evaluation the trailing floor stops rising when it reaches the opening account balance.
Consider a simple illustration: if the current distance to the floor is USD600, a position with USD500 of stop risk leaves little room for costs or slippage. Nominal account profit does not remove this constraint. Before increasing contracts, check the actual floor and the effect of unrealised profit. End-of-day calculation does not mean a breach may be repaired by the end of the day.
Subscription, renewal and reset are different
Evaluation membership renews every 30 days until passing or cancellation. An active evaluation can continue beyond a month without losing progress merely because it renews. There is no pause facility: cancelling and restarting can lose progress. After failure, check subscription status rather than assuming billing stopped automatically.
A reset is purchased separately and neither replaces membership nor changes the renewal date. An automatic renewal reset is conditional on the dashboard showing NOT BEING EVALUATED when payment arrives; it cannot be banked. Website and help-centre prices differ for some amounts. A practical budget includes the chosen checkout price, possible renewals, resets and other charges before deciding how many attempts to fund.
Contract commissions and market data
The commission table gives examples of USD2.88 per side for ES or NQ and USD0.95 per side for MES or MNQ. Opening and closing one contract therefore produces USD5.76 and USD1.90 respectively in that example. These are per-side rates, not round-turn figures to double again. Evaluation and Funded Sim costs are simulated and affect calculated profit; Live terms can differ.
Level 1 data is included during simulated stages. The documented Tradovate/NinjaTrader Level 2 bundle costs USD49 per calendar month and expires at month-end; this should not be generalised to every Rithmic connection. Live professional data is described at USD156 per month per exchange. Evaluation membership stops upon funding and the activation fee has been removed, but trading is not therefore cost-free.
Platforms: choose the connection first
TradeDay distinguishes CQG/Tradovate connections from Rithmic. Its CQG route documents Tradovate, NinjaTrader, TradingView and Jigsaw. Rithmic options include R|Trader Pro, Quantower, ATAS, Bookmap, Sierra Chart and MotiveWave. Software licensing, data connection and evaluation access are separate components even when the names appear together.
NinjaTrader Desktop requires the documented Tradovate/CQG route and is not supported on those Rithmic accounts. TradingView and Jigsaw require a suitable trader licence. Before paying, check the orders and data you need, the selected connection and extra costs. Users analysing in Bookmap or ATAS should also check licence and connector compatibility; a software subscription does not include a TradeDay account automatically.
Contract and product limits
Evaluation tiers of USD25,000, USD50,000, USD100,000 and USD150,000 list limits of two, five, ten and fifteen minis, or twenty, fifty, fifty and fifty micros. Converting between minis and micros is not permission to increase risk without limit. Check aggregate position limits and the specific contract specification.
The permitted list covers selected indices, FX, rates, energy, metals and agriculture on CME, CBOT, COMEX and NYMEX. It does not permit every exchange product. Micro Silver SIL, for example, counts against the mini/standard limit because of a documented technical limitation. Check symbol, contract, tick value, expiry and liquidity; a micro label alone does not determine how the account counts it.
Trading hours and news
TradeDay requires positions and working orders to be closed ten minutes before each product’s daily close. Evening and overnight trading within an exchange session is allowed; holding through the daily close is different. Holidays, schedule changes and different symbols require separate checks.
The company describes automatic liquidation two minutes before its Tier 1 releases and reopening two minutes afterwards. Participants remain responsible for orders and the loss floor. The programme should be described neither as unrestricted news trading nor as prohibiting all overnight trading. Repeated exploitation of closing mechanisms can result in account closure, so plan exits before the time limit.
Quick Pay: requested payout versus trader receipt
The Quick Pay Funded Sim minimum payout request is USD250 before the profit split. The split depends on the account and current profit, rather than only lifetime withdrawals: below the USD4,000 threshold it describes 50/50 treatment; an above-threshold component can receive 80/20 subject to retaining sufficient profit. A request crossing the threshold can involve both rates.
The loss floor continues to reflect gross profit after withdrawals. A payout can therefore reduce remaining loss room, and requesting USD250 does not promise a USD250 receipt. Wording and examples differ at the exact USD4,000 boundary, so do not rely on edge-case calculations without confirming account conditions. International wires and certain crypto routes may involve separate charges.
Fast Pass: payout cycles and caps
For accounts opened on or after 26 July 2026, the Fast Pass policy requires five qualifying profitable days per cycle, net profit since the prior payout, 45% consistency and a USD250 minimum request. Consistency limits the best profitable day to 45% of current profit plus prior payouts, rather than only the current cycle profit. Qualifying-day profit thresholds are USD100, USD150, USD200 or USD250 by tier. The trader receives 80%, and requests are limited by both a tier cap and half the relevant profit balance.
Trading must stop after requesting until payment; the next cycle begins with the following trading session. For the USD100,000 tier, the payout policy lists USD1,875 while another product description lists USD1,850. This conflict should be clarified before requesting, not turned into a promised amount. The first request can also lift a still-trailing floor to the starting balance, so calculate remaining loss room after the payout.
Funded Live: a separate agreement and cost structure
Live progression depends on review and route-specific rules. Quick Pay requires stopping for review at USD10,000 of gross profit per account, including current profit and previous payouts. Fast Pass describes transition around the fifth payout request, potentially earlier at the company’s discretion. Buying or passing evaluation does not guarantee live approval in every situation.
Fast Pass Live is described with a zero opening balance and a buffer requirement before withdrawals. One published buffer example does not match the evaluation table, so it should not establish a universal amount. Live trader share is described at 90%, but Quick Pay transferred components and new profit can receive different splits. Account for professional data, commissions and the actual Live agreement.
Participation conditions and checks before paying
Participants must be at least eighteen. Funded-stage identity and address checks and company, broker and clearing conditions apply. Country restrictions also address citizenship and extended visits, with Funded Sim-only exceptions for certain groups. Absence from a list is not approval of a particular account, and website language does not determine residence.
Before purchasing, confirm product availability and that identity documents match your details. KYC-failure refund wording is not consistent across the help articles; an evaluation payment is not a deposit guaranteed to be returned. Retain checkout and cancellation conditions, and budget an affordable total without assuming future rewards will cover it.
The TRADEVENN code and cost planning
The company supplied the TRADEVENN coupon code and the personal referral link used by the button. Enter the code exactly and check which route and billing period the checkout applies it to. Another website promotion does not necessarily have the same terms, and a first-period reduction should not be assumed to cover renewals or resets.
For cost comparisons, specify evaluation duration, renewals, resets, software licensing and market data. Include a scenario with no rewards: participation fees are expenditure even if you do not pass. A coupon can affect price but does not change profit targets, loss floors or payout rules unless the company expressly says so.
Who may find it useful and what to compare?
TradeDay merits examination by futures traders who understand their contracts, can manage distance to a loss floor and accept rules that change between stages. It is less suited to passive investing, asset ownership or guaranteed income. Simulated evaluation results also do not prove that live-market results will match.
TradeDay versus FTMO and TradeDay versus FundedNext compare futures evaluation with the CFD products covered at the other companies. Examine the market, real loss room, expenditure over time and conditions for receiving rewards. Choose a process suited to your workflow rather than the largest nominal account headline.
