What KYC is and why it matters on KCEX

KYC is an identity verification process: you give the exchange personal details and upload an identity document. According to KCEX, completing verification unlocks higher withdrawal limits and improves account security and convenience. In other words, verification mainly affects how much you can withdraw. It is worth completing it before you need to withdraw a large amount, not at that moment. Have a valid identity document ready and good lighting for the photo, so the image is clear and readable.

The steps in the app

According to the official KCEX guide, after logging into the app you tap Personal Center in the top left corner of the home screen. In the top right corner of Personal Center you tap Verify, and then Verify again on the personal verification screen. Next you type the name of your country or region in the search field. Then you choose the type of identity document and fill in your personal details as prompted. Finally you upload a photo of the document and tap the submit button.

Published levels and limits

The numeric figure KCEX publishes on its KYC page is a daily withdrawal limit of 30 BTC for basic verification. The page does not describe further verification levels, their limits, or the limit for an unverified account. So we do not present such numbers here. If you need a higher limit, check the verification screen in the app and the KCEX help pages, or ask support. Remember that the limit is measured in BTC, not dollars, and its dollar value changes with the price.

Which documents you need

The KCEX guide asks you to choose the type of identity document you want to submit and upload a photo of it, but it does not list approved documents. A face check, the review time and any further requirements are not on the page either. In practice, the app shows the available document types after you choose a country or region. Make sure the details you type match the document exactly, including the English spelling of your name, and that the photo shows the whole document without glare.

Identity verification and account security

Identity verification is one layer. The second layer is two-step verification. According to KCEX, Google Authenticator generates a new code every 30 seconds, and you can link it in the app through Personal Center and then Security. Keep the backup key shown during setup somewhere safe outside your phone. A withdrawal from the website requires this code together with an email code. Keep in mind: crypto prices are highly volatile, and leveraged futures trading can quickly lead to losing the entire amount you put in.

What is the daily withdrawal limit for basic verification?

According to KCEX, 30 BTC per day.

Does KCEX publish further verification levels?

The official KYC page does not describe further levels or their limits. Check the verification screen in the app or ask support.

Which identity document can I submit?

The guide does not list them. The app shows the available document types after you choose a country or region.
