What you need before you start

You register with KCEX using an email address or a mobile phone number, whichever you prefer. Prepare a strong password that meets the requirements shown on the form. During sign-up you will be asked to read and accept the KCEX User Agreement and Privacy Policy, so take a few minutes to read them before you click the button. After the account is open you can complete identity verification (KYC). According to KCEX, verification unlocks higher withdrawal limits and improves account security. It also helps to install an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator on your phone in advance.

Opening an account on the website, step by step

According to the KCEX registration guide, the website process has four steps. First go to www.kcex.com and click the Sign Up button in the top right corner. Then choose to register with a mobile number or an email address, set a password that meets the requirements, read and accept the User Agreement and Privacy Policy, and click Register. In the third step you slide to the right to complete the on-screen puzzle. At the end a message confirms that registration is complete. The official guide covers website registration only and does not list the exact password requirements.

Where the site's registration link fits in

Our KCEX page includes a registration link. It is the site's referral link, and it leads to KCEX's own sign-up page. There is no referral code to type, and the registration steps are the same as described above: choose email or phone, set a password, accept the agreements and complete the puzzle. All terms, fees and limits are set by KCEX and appear on its official pages. If you prefer, you can also go directly to www.kcex.com and register there. Either way, read the User Agreement before you accept it.

Securing the account with Google Authenticator

After registering, it is worth enabling two-step verification. According to KCEX, Google Authenticator is a dynamic password tool that generates a new verification code every 30 seconds. On the website you open the security settings from the user menu, choose Google Authenticator, scan the QR code or copy the key into the app, and save the backup key. Finally you enter your login password, the email code and the code from the app. In the KCEX app the process goes through Personal Center and then Security. Keep the backup key somewhere safe, because it is used for account recovery.

Identity verification (KYC) after registration

According to the KCEX KYC guide, verification in the app starts in Personal Center. You tap Verify in the top corner and then Verify again on the verification screen. Next you type your country or region, choose the type of identity document, fill in your personal details, upload a photo of the document and submit. KCEX states that the daily withdrawal limit for basic verification is 30 BTC. The guide does not describe further verification levels or review times. You can find more detail in our KYC guide.

Before your first deposit

KCEX states that it charges no fee for on-chain crypto deposits into the account. Before you send funds, check that you choose the correct coin and network, and that the address you copied belongs to your account. Trading fees and other terms are covered in our fees guide, which is worth reading before your first trade. Keep in mind: crypto prices are highly volatile, and leveraged futures trading can quickly lead to losing the entire amount you put in. Only put in an amount you can afford to lose.

Can I register with KCEX without a phone number?

Yes. According to the KCEX registration guide, you can choose to register with either an email address or a mobile number.

Do I need a referral code to register through the site?

What is the withdrawal limit after basic verification?

KCEX states that the daily withdrawal limit for basic verification is 30 BTC.
