What RoboForex offers
RoboForex is a broker for CFD and other instruments. According to the website footer, the service is provided by RoboForex Ltd, a financial brokerage company regulated by the FSC under licence No. 9759600. Today we read the home page and the official verification page. This page summarises what they say about countries, documents and deposits, so you can check these points before signing up. CFD and leveraged trading involve high risk, and you can lose the entire amount deposited.
What the country list says
According to the website footer, RoboForex Ltd and its partners do not operate in the USA, Canada, Japan, Australia, Bonaire, Brazil, Curaçao, East Timor, Indonesia, Iran, Liberia, Saipan, Russia, Sint Eustatius, Tahiti, Turkey, Guinea-Bissau, Micronesia, the Northern Mariana Islands, Svalbard and Jan Mayen, South Sudan, Ukraine and Belarus, and also in "other restricted countries". In other words, the list is not closed. Israel is not mentioned on the page, neither as restricted nor as served. Israel not being mentioned is not confirmation that Israeli residents are accepted.
Which documents verification requires
According to the verification page, you need to verify identity and address. For identity, an international passport is accepted or, if you have none, a national passport, identity card or residence permit with a photo. For address, accepted documents include property documents, a lease agreement, electricity, water, gas or landline bills, and bank or card statements. Address documents cannot be older than 6 months, with exceptions listed on the page. A verification request is processed within up to 2 business days.
Deposit methods
On the home page RoboForex says there are more than 20 ways to deposit funds, and shows the Visa, MasterCard, bank transfer, Skrill and Neteller logos. The page does not give fees, transfer times or availability by country, and does not mention shekels. The verification page notes that bank card verification is not required to start trading but may be required for certain operations, such as withdrawals. Check in your personal area which methods are available to you, and read the fees for each method before depositing.
How to confirm your account will be accepted
The pages we quoted are what RoboForex publishes today, and they can change. Only RoboForex can confirm that Israeli residents are accepted, during sign-up and identity verification. Before depositing, contact customer support, state that you are an Israeli resident, and keep the answer in writing. Also read the full terms linked at the bottom of this page, not only our summary. Even after the account is open, come back to these pages from time to time, because terms get updated. Whether the service suits you is your decision, and this page is not investment advice.
