Which products does this comparison cover?

This comparison covers Earn2Trade’s futures programmes versus the CFD-side FTMO Challenge 1-Step and 2-Step. Earn2Trade evaluation is simulated and can lead to a partner’s LiveSim or Live offer. In these FTMO programmes, the subsequent FTMO Account also remains simulated, with conditional monetary rewards.

FTMO also offers FTMO Futures and other routes including Instant. They are outside this table. Do not apply CFD rules to every product under the brand or describe FTMO as having no futures offering. Read the Earn2Trade review and FTMO review before choosing a product.

A futures contract versus simulated CFD conditions

Earn2Trade evaluates permitted CME Group futures products. Contract size, tick value, sessions and contract caps determine exposure and remaining room before a rule breach. An evaluation account is not an asset purchase to hold.

FTMO describes simulated CFD conditions reflecting brokerage components such as spreads, commissions and overnight funding. Its displayed balance is not a withdrawable amount either. A futures contract cap cannot be compared with CFD leverage as the same unit. Choose an instrument and scenario first, then compare execution costs and loss boundaries.

Evaluation structure and billing

Earn2Trade’s TCP or Gauntlet Mini evaluation subscription renews every 30 days until cancellation or passing. Dollar profit objectives depend on account tier. Resets can add cost and do not restart billing.

FTMO Challenge 1-Step has one evaluation with a 10% target; 2-Step has a 10% Challenge followed by 5% Verification. These routes charge a one-time purchase fee rather than a recurring subscription. The 1-Step entry fee is non-refundable; the initial 2-Step refund is conditional on the first Reward request and applicable terms, not merely passing. Price, size and order currency must still match the intended comparison.

Loss floors: percentage, amount and mechanism

Earn2Trade evaluation applies EOD drawdown and a programme-specific dollar daily-loss limit. Open P&L and commissions can cause an intraday breach. Live or growth stages require a separate rule check.

FTMO 1-Step has a 3% initial-simulated-capital daily allowance and a 10% maximum-loss allowance with an end-of-day trailing floor. In 2-Step the daily allowance is 5% and maximum loss is 10% with a static floor. These mechanisms differ. FTMO’s day resets at 00:00 CE(S)T and includes open positions, swaps and commissions; Earn2Trade uses its CT day definition. Check the programme clock rather than assuming a fixed Israel-time conversion.

Trading days and account-cohort consistency

Earn2Trade has no separate minimum-day rule, but requiring one day below 30% of total P&L effectively needs at least four profitable days. That differs from four position-opening trading days in each FTMO 2-Step evaluation phase; a trading day and a profitable day are different measures.

FTMO 1-Step orders created from 12 October 2026 at 09:00 in the published platform-time convention, and mergers covered by its update, use 50% Consistency against total closed profit including losing days. Earlier cohorts retain Best Day against Positive Days’ Profit. In either case an oversized day requires additional profit to meet the ratio; do not apply the former denominator to a new account.

What follows passing?

Earn2Trade can lead to a partner’s simulated LiveSim or Live offer. Broker decisions, identification and account agreements remain separate steps. LiveSim can include activation deducted from the first withdrawal, while Live adds connection- and exchange-dependent data and operating costs.

The FTMO CFD routes examined continue to a simulated FTMO Account. Conditional monetary rewards do not turn it into a participant-owned live brokerage account. Do not infer that either company guarantees trading capital or returns a “deposit”. Purchase fees pay for a service or evaluation; account size describes a simulated operating framework.

Profit shares and reward timing

Earn2Trade’s current split depends on single-withdrawal size and account tier: 50% or 80%, with TCP400 using 60/40. A USD 100 minimum net withdrawal does not remove activation or payment charges, and LiveSim ceilings are cumulative.

FTMO’s CFD reward policy states 90% for 1-Step and a default 80% for 2-Step, with 90% under Scaling or Premium conditions. A Reward can be requested from the 14th day after the first account trade or later, with positions/orders closed and account/invoice review. Request eligibility is not a guaranteed receipt date. A higher percentage alone does not compare net cash or withdrawal probability.

Platforms and operating costs

Earn2Trade documents futures platforms including NinjaTrader, Finamark, Tradovate, TradingView and Quantower with stage-specific feeds and licences. Standard data, market depth, professional classification and software licences are separate components.

FTMO lists MT4, MT5, cTrader and TradingView on its CFD side, subject to the relevant account and connection. A platform list does not approve every model or country for the same route. Before purchase, record evaluation fees, renewals or further purchases, data, licences, execution costs and payment fees. This compares a complete cash-flow structure rather than only an entry price or platform name.

Which comparison fits your workflow?

If your workflow centres on futures contracts, tick values and order books, begin with a specific futures programme and its loss room. If examining simulated CFD conditions, explicitly choose FTMO 1-Step or 2-Step and define the account, platform and rule cohort. Assess each route as its own product.

FTMO

About the provider

The 2-Step route has profit targets of 10% then 5%, a 5% daily loss limit and a static 10% overall limit; 1-Step has a 3% daily limit and a trailing overall threshold.
