Earn2Trade vs TradeDay: Futures, Loss Floors and Withdrawal Conditions
Compare TCP and Gauntlet Mini with Quick Pay and Fast Pass: consistency, recurring billing, post-evaluation progression and account-specific profit shares.

What is being compared?
Earn2Trade and TradeDay evaluate futures trading in simulation, with conditional progression toward funding. Earn2Trade offers Trader Career Path and Gauntlet Mini; TradeDay offers Quick Pay and Fast Pass. The company name alone does not determine the loss floor, withdrawal conditions or account type after passing.
Start with a specific account and stage. Simulated evaluation, LiveSim or Funded Sim, and Live trading are different states. A 50K label is not money available to withdraw. Read the full Earn2Trade review and TradeDay review.
A 50K example: similar labels, different controls
Earn2Trade’s TCP50 and GAU50 cards show a USD 3,000 evaluation target, USD 2,000 EOD loss distance and USD 1,100 daily limit. The six-contract ceiling depends on a progression ladder. These are evaluation conditions, not a promise of six contracts at the start of funding.
TradeDay’s 50K evaluation table also lists a USD 3,000 target and USD 2,000 loss allowance, with five minis or 50 micros. Quick Pay offers intraday or EOD drawdown, while Fast Pass uses EOD. Matching two amounts does not make the loss mechanism or position progression identical.
Trading days and consistency measure different things
Earn2Trade’s current evaluation has no separate minimum-day rule, but one day must be less than 30% of total P&L, effectively requiring at least four profitable days. TradeDay Quick Pay requires five trading days and a best day no greater than 30%. Fast Pass has no separate minimum-day requirement and uses a 45% evaluation consistency objective.
Threshold wording matters: 900 out of 3,000 is exactly 30%. It remains too high under Earn2Trade’s rule, while it is not above 30% under Quick Pay’s wording. This is only a ratio example; all other objectives and restrictions still apply. A large profitable day does not itself justify increasing risk to finish sooner.
What changes in drawdown after passing?
Earn2Trade describes LiveSim with EOD drawdown, while Live can use intraday trailing drawdown. TCP growth stages require their particular path and agreement. End-of-day adjustment does not allow an open position to cross the existing floor intraday.
TradeDay Quick Pay changes to intraday drawdown in Funded Sim even after an EOD evaluation. Fast Pass Funded Sim retains EOD. Therefore, ask when the floor rises, whether it remains after losses and what happens around a withdrawal, as well as how large the loss allowance is. Recheck the rule again at the Live stage.
Billing cycles, resets and activation
Both evaluations involve recurring billing, which must be separated from reset cost. Earn2Trade and TradeDay’s billing policy document 30-day cycles. A reset does not necessarily buy another 30 days or move the next billing date. Failing an evaluation is not a substitute for cancelling a subscription.
Earn2Trade publishes a USD 139 per-account LiveSim activation charge for non-professional data, deducted from the first profitable withdrawal. TradeDay states no activation fee for the described programmes. That difference does not make total costs zero: professional data, licences, execution charges and resets require stage-specific checks.
Profit shares: withdrawal size versus account profit
Earn2Trade’s current policy uses a single withdrawal’s size: 50% below the account-tier threshold and 80% at or above it, with TCP400 using 60/40. Its published minimum is USD 100 net after applicable charges.
TradeDay Quick Pay Funded Sim instead uses a USD 4,000 current-account-profit threshold. The portion above it that remains above after withdrawal can receive an 80/20 split, while the portion below receives 50/50; a request crossing the floor can be split proportionally. TradeDay’s USD 250 minimum request is a different measurement basis from Earn2Trade’s net minimum. A headline percentage does not establish the bank receipt.
Fast Pass: cohort-specific payout conditions
Fast Pass Funded Sim uses payout cycles, profitable-day requirements and caps. Accounts opened from 26 July 2026 also require the best day to be no more than 45% of current profit plus previous payouts. That is a different denominator from evaluation consistency.
Under the 50K policy for this cohort, five profitable days of at least USD 150 each are required. A request is limited to 50% of account balance and USD 1,500, with a USD 250 minimum request and 80/20 split. Profit since the prior payout and sufficient balance are also required. Earlier accounts have different conditions; their higher former caps must not be assigned to new accounts. These are not Earn2Trade rules.
Platform, feed and licence
Earn2Trade documents NinjaTrader, Finamark, Tradovate, TradingView and Quantower, among others, with tool- and stage-specific licence conditions. Check whether market depth or an additional software subscription is needed beyond the basic connection.
TradeDay requires the Tradovate/CQG or Rithmic route to match the platform. Its instructions assign NinjaTrader Desktop to Tradovate/CQG; TradingView and other connections can require the user’s own licence. A shared charting-platform name does not promise the same execution environment. Check data permissions, session closures and order restrictions for the chosen route.
Who should examine each route?
Earn2Trade merits examination by traders choosing between TCP growth and a selected Gauntlet Mini tier who can track contract ladders, daily loss and tier-specific withdrawal terms. At TradeDay, explicitly choose Quick Pay or Fast Pass according to post-evaluation drawdown, consistency and payout cycles.
