What the comparison is based on

The figures here come from official pages: the KCEX fee article and fee calculator, and the Bybit help center pages on trading fee structure and general fees. For Bybit we compared the rates for a regular user, meaning VIP 0. Bybit notes that actual rates may vary by your region, and KCEX notes that rates for some pairs vary due to promotions. So the figure that counts is always the one shown on the trading screen in your own account.

Spot fees

On KCEX the spot maker and taker fees are 0%, according to its fee article and fee calculator. On Bybit, according to its fee structure page, a non-VIP user pays 0.1% as maker and 0.1% as taker on crypto-to-crypto spot trading. On a 1,000 USDT trade, a 0.1% fee is 1 USDT. Bybit also offers paying trading fees with MNT, and its fee page links to FAQs on the subject. The full details of that option are on Bybit's pages.

Futures and options

For futures, KCEX publishes a 0% maker fee and a 0.01% taker fee. On Bybit, for perpetual and futures contracts, a non-VIP user pays 0.02% as maker and 0.055% as taker. Bybit also offers options trading, with a 0.02% maker fee and a 0.03% taker fee at the base level. KCEX does not publish options fees on the pages we checked. Futures fees are calculated on the position value, so with high leverage they grow with the position. Keep in mind: crypto prices are highly volatile, and leveraged futures trading can quickly lead to losing the entire amount you put in.

VIP tiers and promotions

On Bybit, fees go down at higher VIP levels. According to the fee structure page, the VIP level is set by either your asset balance or your trading volume over the last 30 days, whichever qualifies you for the higher tier, and meeting one criterion is enough. The KCEX fee page does not describe VIP tiers, but notes that rates for some trading pairs may vary due to campaigns. To check the exact rate for a given pair, open its trading screen on either exchange.

Deposits and withdrawals

On both exchanges there is no fee for on-chain crypto deposits, according to the official pages. The withdrawal fee structure is similar too: on Bybit an on-chain withdrawal fee depends on the coin and the network, and internal transfers to another Bybit account carry no fee. The KCEX help article uses similar wording, including no fee for withdrawals to KCEX users, and the KCEX calculator page states 0 withdrawal fees on all supported networks. On both, check the fee in the withdrawal window before confirming.

How to sign up

Bybit has a referral code the site owner provides for readers: BROKERLENS. You enter it in the Bybit registration form, subject to Bybit's terms. KCEX has no reader-facing code, and our site has a registration link that leads to the KCEX sign-up page. There you register with an email or mobile number, accept the User Agreement and Privacy Policy and complete a short puzzle. On both exchanges, all terms and fees are set by the exchange itself.
