Eightcap vs RoboForex: begin with account type and units

Eightcap vs RoboForex requires more than matching the name Raw with Prime. Eightcap’s international site describes Standard and Raw with detailed pricing. Belize’s RoboForex Ltd lists several currency accounts, including Prime and ProCent. Useful differences concern charging basis, order scale and the platform managing the trade.

For a reader preferring per-lot commission, Eightcap Raw’s tariff connects readily to ordinary forex volume. Prime uses USD turnover, requiring conversion of trade value into the calculation currency. ProCent adds cent units, so copying a lot quantity from an ordinary account requires a separate check.

Define pair, size and account currency first. Then identify whether TradingView connectivity, MetaTrader or browser access is required. Pricing and software choices are connected but distinct decisions. An account fitting the software may have different pricing or specifications from the account found initially.

The Eightcap review and RoboForex review provide context. Build one row stating the exposure bought or sold, the submission method and the charge calculation. That row remains useful even if a provider renames plans or changes how pricing is displayed.

Eightcap and RoboForex plans: similar labels are not identical terms

The table helps select a plan to examine without inferring execution superiority from the provider’s label. Each row belongs to a defined account and product.

Eightcap Standard does not mean every instrument lacks commission: share CFDs are an exception to Standard’s no-separate-commission pricing. Raw does not promise a zero spread at every moment. At RoboForex, ECN does not inherit Prime pricing, and R StocksTrader requires a separate assessment from the currency example.

A first-account reader can narrow selection by a charging method they understand and can record. An established-system user can narrow by compatibility, instruments and permissions. Both approaches may identify the same account for different reasons. Keep the selection reason beside pricing data so changes can be reviewed intelligently.

Eightcap Raw versus RoboForex Prime: tariff and denominator

For a USD account, Eightcap Raw publishes USD 3.50 per standard lot per side. Prime publishes USD 10 per million dollars of trading turnover. Compare by expressing currency exposure in both lots and USD value. When the base currency is not USD, the exchange rate becomes part of the calculation.

The different denominators explain why a per-million number cannot be directly compared with a per-lot tariff. EUR/USD volume is expressed in euros while Prime turnover is calculated in dollars. USD/JPY begins with another base currency. Equal base-unit quantities in different pairs can therefore represent different USD values.

Account currency introduces another question. Eightcap publishes separate currency tariffs, including EUR 2.75 per lot per side for a EUR account. They are not exchange-rate conversions of the USD tariff. If Prime charges are translated into another currency, check conversion terms and actual booking rather than choosing a convenient exchange rate.

Initially, use a USD account and one pair to isolate the difference. Then add the desired account currency and instrument specification. The RoboForex account guide expands the available plans. The result should describe one reproducible trade rather than combining a price from one plan with volume from another.

Eightcap and RoboForex example: one tenth of a lot, two methods

Assume a EUR/USD trade of 10,000 euros, or 0.10 ordinary lot, at a hypothetical constant rate of USD 1.20 per euro. The account is in USD, a pip is USD 0.0001 per euro, and there is no financing, additional conversion or slippage. Price and spread remain constant for this illustration.

Eightcap Raw’s round-trip commission is 3.50 multiplied by 0.10 multiplied by two legs, or USD 0.70. Prime’s notional is USD 12,000 per leg. At USD 10 per million, each leg costs USD 0.12 and both total USD 0.24. The position’s pip value is USD 1.

Choose hypothetical spreads of 0.2 pips at Eightcap and 0.6 at Prime. Modeled costs are USD 0.90 at Eightcap and USD 0.84 at Prime after adding round-trip commission to spread. These inputs are educational, not measured provider spreads. A small input change can reverse the difference.

The USD 0.46 commission gap equals 0.46 pips. With Eightcap’s spread at 0.2, Prime’s spread at 0.66 produces equal USD 0.90 costs. A narrower Prime spread creates its modeled cost advantage; a wider one favors Eightcap. This compares a defined price without establishing execution quality, financing or contracting-company suitability.

Eightcap–RoboForex execution: an ECN label is not a price guarantee

Account descriptions can include Raw, ECN or Market Execution. Read their meaning for the specific product instead of assigning one uniform meaning across companies. They do not replace order specifications, contracts or records of the prices at which positions open and close.

RoboForex lists Market Execution in Prime’s description alongside another account named ECN. An ECN label does not transfer every tariff or rule into Prime. Eightcap’s pricing table describes spread and commission structure; it does not establish exchange trading or execution at a price previously shown on an analysis screen.

Evaluate the process by recording order type and what follows submission. Market orders, pending orders and stops request different mechanisms. The chart source may differ from the account’s quote source. An unclear order specification cannot be resolved by comparing minimum spreads alone.

Cost statements also need attention: RoboForex says MT4 Prime/ECN collects both commission legs upfront, while MT5 bills them separately. A post-entry screenshot is not a completed round-trip measurement. Execution assessment and charge interpretation are separate tasks, both requiring the same account and trade units.

Eightcap and RoboForex platforms: connection and migration

Eightcap lists MT4, MT5, TradingView and TradeLocker. Its TradingView documentation describes a designated account, with deposits and withdrawals remaining at Eightcap. This supports an operational requirement check, not a promise that every existing account connects unchanged or every chart symbol is tradable.

RoboForex lists MT4/MT5 currency accounts alongside web/mobile environments and the separate R StocksTrader workflow. An established MetaTrader user can begin by checking server and symbol. Someone preferring browser analysis should inspect order, unit and statement presentation in the account-compatible platform.

Migration should not begin by copying a quantity into every button. First check size, unit, contract specification and order behavior. External alerts or software require compatibility and account-permission checks. Technical support is not blanket approval for an activity inconsistent with the agreement.

The Eightcap platform guide expands connectivity questions. Retain statements and configuration records before altering the process, and distinguish practice from live accounts. The goal is a clear, controllable action rather than selection by a marketing tool count or a familiar-looking chart.

ProCent versus Eightcap Raw: practice is not an account unit

ProCent differs from an ordinary account in unit scale. RoboForex defines a cent lot as 100 times smaller than a standard lot. It is a real-money account, so it should not be treated as a demo or a large cent-denominated balance as equally large ordinary-currency capital.

To compare the same exposure with Eightcap, convert it into base-currency units first. Then determine how the quantity is entered in the other account’s screen. Copying volume without understanding its unit can create unintended position size even when every number is technically entered correctly.

A demo supports order and connection practice without a real cash balance. A cent account can demonstrate charge booking at smaller specification-defined exposure, but carries financial risk. Neither establishes ordinary-account tariffs, execution quality or system suitability for every instrument and time.

Before moving, put balance units, order volume and actual exposure on one row. Obtain a charge display explaining both trade legs. Choosing a smaller-scale plan should fit the evaluation objective rather than bypass financing, contract terms or order management. A different scale changes the calculation, not the need to understand it.

Eightcap–RoboForex margin: margin level is not a loss percentage

Eightcap’s international account table lists an 80% Margin Call level and 50% Stop Out level. These are account/margin thresholds, not loss targets measured against each deposit. Before comparing them with another account’s rule, identify the denominator and the agreement’s close-out mechanism.

In a purely hypothetical example, USD 500 equity against USD 1,000 used margin produces a 50% margin level:500 divided by 1,000 multiplied by 100. It does not mean the client lost 50% of the deposit; the deposit is not the denominator. A lower threshold is not automatically better protection.

RoboForex account thresholds and order specifications depend on the plan, so a number found for Prime or ProCent cannot be applied to every account. Its calculator separates margin from cost. Allocated collateral is not commission, but losses and financing can reduce equity and trigger rule-based position closure.

Record exposure, equity and margin separately. Examine a price gap or slippage rather than only continuous movement. Account names and commission tariffs do not replace a risk scenario. Someone unable to bear a loss of trading funds should assess product suitability before comparing account thresholds.

Eightcap and RoboForex financing and entity: complete both checks

A Raw-versus-Prime comparison does not end with round-trip commission. Crossing rollover can create financing debits or credits, with rates depending on instrument and direction. A same-day exit assumption is inadequate for someone planning several nights of exposure.

Eightcap directs readers to instrument specifications for swap and says triple-charge timing depends on asset class. Administration charges can also apply under swap-free conditions. RoboForex’s calculator excludes overnight financing, requiring a separate model when relevant to the scenario.

Contractually, Eightcap’s international offer is not one agreement for all group companies. Its about page identifies Eightcap EU Ltd in Cyprus separately from the international site’s companies. RoboForex Ltd is examined in Belize. This article does not transfer another company’s licence, protection or tariff to the selected account.

Match company, account and instrument before comparing final prices. Then add the holding calendar and relevant transfer expenses. An operational question may be left for practice, but an unresolved financial input cannot be filled with zero. Agreement terms and specifications are part of the price, not an appendix added after declaring a winner.

Eightcap or RoboForex: decide by costs and control requirements

Eightcap may fit someone needing documented platform connectivity and preferring Raw per-lot or instrument-specific Standard pricing. RoboForex may fit someone examining turnover-based Prime or a differently scaled ProCent account. These are testable needs rather than an overall company ranking.

For short currency trades, normalize spread and commission. For longer holding, add financing and direction. For moves between ordinary and cent accounts, document volume conversion. For alert-based processes, check a compatible account and permissions. Each scenario requires a different input before a tariff can help decide.

If commission basis is central, the FP Markets and RoboForex comparison shows another per-lot/turnover pair. Do not copy its hypothetical spread into an Eightcap account. Reuse the calculation method, then insert the relevant product sources and units.

Retain a row explaining why the plan was chosen and how it will be monitored. Selection should remain understandable without marketing labels or a chart image. Suitable software and pricing can simplify work without guaranteeing financial results or account admission. Understanding exposure and booked costs remains essential throughout use.

About the provider

At Belize-based RoboForex Ltd, Prime requires a $10 minimum deposit and quotes commission of 10 USD per million USD of turnover, alongside spreads from 0 pips and leverage up to 1:300. A million dollars of turnover is not one lot: an EUR/USD lot is 100,000 euros. Leverage magnifies losses; the provider’s risk warning reports that 75.85% of retail accounts lose money.
