Bookmap pricing: the software licence is one layer

Bookmap prices depend on tier and billing period, while workspace cost may also include data, add-ons and brokerage. Real-time stock and futures data are excluded from the software licence. Define the task and connection before comparing price. A higher licence does not open a trading account or establish exchange permissions.

Standard software licenceMonthly USD billingAnnual USD billing
DigitalNo software chargeNo software charge
Digital Plus19 per month195 per year
Global49 per month468 per year
Global Plus99 per month948 per year

These are standard USD subscription rows before applicable checkout taxes, rather than a personal offer or data-inclusive total. Annual rows describe yearly payment, not monthly payment despite marketing monthly equivalents. Other currencies require checking the relevant order row.

A learner examining the display can start small. Live futures or screen-based execution require different plans and connections. The Bookmap review explains heatmaps and executed volume; this guide focuses on purchase coverage and separately priced requirements.

Digital and Digital Plus: crypto access is not live futures

Digital is the basic plan without a software fee, described with one viewable symbol, live crypto and delayed stocks or futures. Digital Plus supports up to three symbols and adds recording and replay in the plan matrix. Its stock and futures data do not automatically become live.

This matters for learning. You can examine liquidity and volume on suitable plan data, but delayed-data practice should not be presented as a live-execution test. Three symbols are not necessarily needed by a beginner; one screen with a defined question can be more useful than scattered monitoring.

Choose a symbol and source capable of answering your question. For crypto, identify exchange and pair rather than assuming a whole-market book. For futures, understand delay and history. An instrument appearing in a list does not establish that every service is licensed or that an account may trade it.

Digital Plus can fit multiple-symbol monitoring and recorded practice. It is not equivalent to Global for users requiring live stocks or futures. Check supported and separately sold add-ons too. A limited starting plan works when it covers the learning task without being credited with excluded capabilities.

Global and Global Plus: distinguish viewing from execution

Global supports up to ten symbols and suitable live stock or futures data connections. Global Plus supports up to twenty symbols, stock and futures execution through supported connections and advanced matrix-listed tools. Those market-data services remain separately purchased or connected in Global Plus. Broader licensing does not replace data subscriptions.

For users executing elsewhere, Bookmap may be analytical only. Execution features need not be purchased merely because they appear prominently. Users wanting Bookmap execution should check tier, connector and destination account together. Data-only access does not provide brokerage.

Symbol count is viewing capacity, not a recommendation to monitor every available slot. Each extra instrument can add workload and attention demands. Define simultaneous requirements and whether extra tools answer routine questions. Higher price is not a measure of trading-decision quality.

When comparing another volume environment, examine roles and data before feature lists. Bookmap versus ATAS addresses liquidity, footprint and connections. Evaluation can establish that one licence suffices or another combination is needed; an overall score cannot replace service conditions and personal requirements.

Bookmap data: price, depth and history are separate questions

Choose data by instrument and required information. Trades, best quotes, book depth and history are different products. BookmapData documents CME Group futures MBO and Nasdaq stock depth. Stock data does not imply stock MBO in this service or coverage of every venue.

Add-ons depend on this distinction. BookmapData's FAQ excludes MBO-bundle Stops & Icebergs tools from Nasdaq TotalView support. An advertised add-on name does not establish compatibility with every feed. Professional classification also changes conditions and price and should be checked with the service.

Before purchasing, list exchanges, instruments and required historical period. Ask whether data is live, what depth arrives and what is available when opening a symbol after a session begins. Connection backfill is not necessarily a complete recording of earlier observations. Different providers need not supply the same layer or detail.

If data already comes through a broker, check compatibility and connection terms before buying again. Avoiding duplicate payment works only when the service supplies the necessary information under applicable conditions. Similar-looking financial products can require different packages. The CFD, stocks and futures guide separates exposure types before choosing information sources.

Bookmap add-ons: licence inclusion and feed compatibility

An add-on may be included in a tier, separately sold or usable only with particular data. These are three different questions. Bookmap separates Marketplace purchases from licensing and documents connection-dependent compatibility. Before budgeting a component, inspect its exact requirements.

Compatibility with all add-ons does not mean all are included. Compatibility describes working together; inclusion describes the purchase. Even an included tool can be unsuitable if the feed lacks its required information layer. Compare the basket against the selected tier's matrix to avoid duplicate spending.

Start with a practical question: what cannot be examined adequately in the current view? Define how the add-on would answer it. A general desire for more information makes value difficult to assess. An extra tool can add processing and maintenance even when technically functional.

Check cancellation and where the add-on is managed. Separate licensing can require separate cancellation. Retain purchase name and renewal date beside the software licence. This identifies both operating services and continuing charges without assuming one cancellation button covers the complete workspace.

A Bookmap budget example: actual rates and labelled assumptions

For software alone, Global's standard monthly row is USD 49. Paying monthly for 12 months totals USD 588. The regular annual row is USD 468, giving a USD 120 licence-only difference. Data, add-ons, taxes and broker costs are excluded, and annual payment is not necessarily suitable for every user.

Digital Plus's regular annual row is USD 195. Dividing by 12 gives an arithmetic monthly equivalent of USD 16.25, not a monthly payment option at that amount. When marketing shows a rounded monthly figure, use the order total for budgeting rather than multiplying the rounded label as an exact charge.

For a hypothetical monthly budget, assume Global at USD 49, estimated data at USD 35 and an estimated add-on at USD 20. Total is USD 104 before taxes and account costs. Data and add-on figures are assumptions, not Bookmap tariffs or a package offer. Replace them with quotes matching your requirements.

This separates infrastructure expense from capital at risk in trading. Do not create a profit target to cover the purchase or call the annual difference a total saving if the workflow adds other services. A sound comparison holds requirements constant and identifies excluded components.

Recording and computer load: check before expanding Bookmap use

Recording and replay can justify a suitable plan when revisiting liquidity and execution sequences. That also requires storage and computer-load planning. Bookmap requirements vary with adapters and usage. A minimum specification does not promise comfortable operation of a large depth-and-add-on workspace throughout market activity.

Before purchasing, describe symbol count, information detail and history retained. Begin with a limited test of actual needs. More windows can increase memory, processing and reading demands. Another user's workspace need not be copied when tasks differ.

Operating-system support is not support for every adapter. Inspect the required connection on your version and system, especially during migration. Simultaneous-use rules are not unlimited licences: Bookmap generally describes one live instance, with a defined additional-machine Replay exception for Global Plus. Do not extend this to two independent live sessions.

Plan what practice preserves: segment, settings, note and question. Simulated results do not establish real fills or profitability. If the task mainly concerns broad charts and alerts, Bookmap versus TradingView helps decide whether another depth layer is necessary or existing tools suffice.

Bookmap renewals and refunds: read the applicable order terms

Cancelling renewal differs from requesting a refund. Bookmap explains that cancellation stops automatic renewal while access remains until expiry. Marketplace subscriptions may need separate cancellation. Removing the application does not prove all charges stopped, nor that data subscriptions were managed with the licence.

Refund wording varies by offer. The crypto page describes paid subscriptions as nonrefundable. A specific Special Offers form displays a 14-day refund condition limited to first-time use. These have different scopes and should not become a universal promise for licences, renewals, data or add-ons. Check the relevant order and applicable documents.

Before paying, retain period, product, amount and cancellation or refund conditions. Seek purchase-specific clarification when unclear. Evaluation need not depend on assuming a guaranteed refund; a basic plan or limited examination can establish some requirements before a long commitment.

When stopping use, also inspect broker connections and orders. Subscription cancellation does not itself close a position or cancel an active instruction. Preserve required records and notes, then inspect continuing service charges. This is operational planning rather than interpretation of individual consumer rights or a promised refund outcome.

Choose a Bookmap plan from a short requirements list

Choose by matching licence, data and tools to one task. For crypto-liquidity learning or delayed-data work, inspect Digital first. For several symbols and recording, examine Digital Plus. For live stocks or futures, inspect Global or Global Plus with suitable data; software-based execution also requires checking Global Plus and the account connection.

List what must work immediately and what can wait. Retain only features with a describable use. Then inspect connector, history and computer requirements. An incompatible component calls for revising the list rather than buying a dearer licence. Payment cannot supply information absent from the source service.

A small acceptance check can inspect one instrument, record settings and revisit a familiar segment. For execution, compare symbol and broker-side order status in a suitable environment. A screenshot, connection or simulation test does not demonstrate returns. The purpose is understanding service delivery and workflow fit.

Retain budget and assumptions beside the decision. When markets, feeds or history needs change, update relevant components. The TradeVenn comparison methodology distinguishes documented facts from needs-based assessment. Bookmap licensing is a work-tool purchase, not trading advice, eligibility approval or protection against losses.

About the provider

Bookmap is desktop software for analysing the order book and order flow. Its heatmap shows resting limit orders over time, while volume bubbles show executed trades. The software supports crypto, stock and futures data through compatible connections. Plans differ in symbol limits, recording and order-entry tools; real-time stock and futures data are purchased separately.
