In short
A crypto withdrawal from Bybit takes a few minutes once your account is verified, 2FA is set up and you pick the right network. Most problems come from a wrong network or a temporary lock you didn't know about. Here's the full process, plus how to get to shekels at the end.
Before you start
- At least Standard KYC. Without it you can't use Bybit's products, withdrawals included.
- Google Authenticator and email verification. Both are needed to confirm a withdrawal.
- Funds in your Funding Account. You can only withdraw the available balance in the Funding Account. If your coins sit in the trading account, move them over first with a free internal transfer.
Withdrawing crypto step by step
- Go to Assets and choose Withdraw.
- Pick the coin, for example USDT.
- Pick the network (Chain Type). It must match a network the receiving side supports.
- Paste the destination address, or choose a saved one from your address book.
- If the network uses a Tag or Memo (XRP, for example), copy it from the receiving side. The request won't go through without it.
- Enter the amount. The window shows the fee and the amount that will actually arrive.
- Confirm with your email code, Google Authenticator code and fund password if you've set one.
Choosing a network
The same coin is usually available on several networks, each with its own fee. A few rules of thumb:
- Check what the receiving side supports first. Sending on a network the other wallet or exchange doesn't support can mean losing the funds.
- USDT: withdrawal fees differ a lot between networks; the exact figure for each network is shown in the withdrawal window.
- Look at every network listed. Bybit sometimes runs zero-fee promotions on a particular network.
- First time sending to a new address? Send a small test amount and confirm it lands.
Minimums and fees
The exact withdrawal fee is shown only in the withdrawal window and on the deposit and withdrawal status page, after you pick a coin and a network, so we do not publish figures here. The gap between networks of the same coin can be large, so compare the networks on offer before you choose.
The minimum withdrawal differs by coin and network too. Bybit publishes both figures on its deposit/withdrawal status page and shows them in the withdrawal window. All other costs are in our Bybit fees guide.
Address whitelist and new-address lock
- Withdrawal Address Whitelist: verify addresses in advance. Withdrawals to a verified address no longer ask for the email and 2FA codes.
- New Address Withdrawal Lock: blocks withdrawals to any address added to the address book after you switch it on. Addresses added at least 24 hours before activation aren't affected.
If someone ever gets into your account, these two settings make it much harder to send funds to their address.
Processing times
Bybit says instant withdrawals are processed within 15 minutes. Other withdrawals can take up to 30 minutes or an hour, and longer when a network is congested. After the coins leave Bybit, arrival also depends on how many confirmations the receiving side requires.
The statuses you'll see in your history:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Under Review | Request received and waiting for review. This is the only stage where you can cancel |
| Withdrawal In Progress | Approved and waiting to be broadcast |
| Sent | Broadcast and waiting for on-chain confirmation |
| Withdrawal Completed | Done |
Why a withdrawal gets held or rejected
Common reasons from Bybit's Help Center:
- Deposit still locked. After a deposit there's a short window where you can trade the funds but not withdraw them, until enough block confirmations come in.
- 24-hour lock. Changing or resetting your password (and some other security actions) blocks withdrawals, internal transfers and P2P for 24 hours.
- Address doesn't match the network, or a missing Memo/Tag.
- Over your withdrawal limit for your KYC level (Standard up to 1M USDT a day, Advanced or Pro up to 2M).
- Below the minimum or above your available Funding Account balance.
- Temporary suspension of a coin's withdrawals for wallet maintenance or a network upgrade.
- Assets bought through Buy Crypto can be temporarily locked for withdrawal if unusual activity is detected.
- Request for more information. Bybit sometimes asks you to confirm your identity or ownership of the receiving wallet. If you don't submit documents within 72 hours, the withdrawal is rejected.
Cashing out to ILS
Bybit's help pages list no direct ILS withdrawal to an Israeli bank account. The two common routes:
- Sell USDT on P2P for ILS. Bybit has announced ILS support on P2P. You sell USDT and the buyer transfers shekels to your account. Takers pay no fee, but rates vary from ad to ad. Steps and how to compare ads are in our Bybit P2P in ILS guide.
- Send to another service, then to your bank. Withdraw crypto to a wallet or service that converts to ILS and pays out to a bank. Options are in our guide to withdrawing crypto to an Israeli bank.
Acceptance of Israeli residents not verified.
Limitations
- USDT withdrawals on ERC20 are expensive compared with other networks.
- No direct ILS withdrawal on Bybit's pages.
- Any password change blocks withdrawals for 24 hours.
- You can only cancel a withdrawal while it's Under Review.
Trading crypto and derivatives carries a high level of risk, and you can lose all the money you put in.

How long does a Bybit withdrawal take?
Instant withdrawals within 15 minutes; others up to 30 minutes or an hour. Network congestion can stretch that.
Why is my withdrawal Under Review?
It's waiting for review. If Bybit asks for extra documents you have 72 hours to provide them. You can still cancel at this stage.
Which network is cheapest for USDT?
Among the common ones, TRC20 is far cheaper than ERC20. The exact fee is in the withdrawal window, and it's worth checking for a promotional network.
I sent on the wrong network. What now?
Contact the receiving side's support right away. Recovery isn't always possible, which is why you check the network every time.
Can I withdraw straight to a bank in ILS?
Bybit's pages offer no such option. The usual route is selling on P2P for ILS or sending to a service that pays out to a bank.
